A total of 120 children of the North Sports Organization (Odenor) were benefited by the Roger Cedeño Foundation, this Monday, April 23 in the popular urbanization La Isabelica of Valencia, with the delivery of sports kits as part of the social work to promote among youngsters aged between 7 to 12 years, the fondness for baseball.
The former big league, Roger Cedeño, was responsible for making the delivery of sports incentives consisting of a flannel, baseball cap and pants for the new athletes, who make up the first group of the program “Robo de Base” of the referred nonprofit organization.
Said preparatory will be dictated by the former player, consists of a sports clinic where Odenor children will also receive talks on nutrition and values to motivate these children to “pursue their dreams without limits,” said the renowned athlete in the activity.
“It is for me and for the whole team ‘Roger Cedeño’, a very great satisfaction to be able to have the opportunity to make this program to 120 children, where they will get the privilege of having sports clinic and talks of values that is where the foundation makes more emphasis, because it is the main and most important to reach the big leagues, “he said.
The delivery of kits concluded with a sharing and delivery of refreshments to the participants and staff linked to the integral formation of these children, who dream of becoming future sporting referents of Venezuela.
